What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small file placed on your device when you visit a website. It allows the website to work, remembers your preferences and, where applicable, measures its audience.
Our approach
YOUHOME has chosen an audience measurement method that respects your privacy. Our website places no tracking cookies, uses no advertising trackers and builds no browsing profile. That is why you do not see a cookie consent banner: it is not needed.
The cookies we use
Only a few technical cookies, essential to the service you request, may be placed. They are exempt from consent because the service cannot be provided without them. Our audience measurement works without any cookies at all.
| Category | Purpose | Consent |
|---|---|---|
| Member area session | Keeping you signed in to your "Le Cercle YOUHOME" area. | Exempt: necessary for the service requested |
| Audience measurement | Fully anonymous visitor statistics. | Not applicable: no cookie is placed |
Audience measurement
We measure website traffic with a solution we host ourselves, configured in anonymous mode:
- no cookie is placed on your device;
- your IP address is anonymised and is never stored in clear;
- the data is aggregated: it helps us understand which pages are viewed, never to identify you;
- your browser's "Do Not Track" signal is respected.
This measurement is based on our legitimate interest in knowing the audience of our website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR), with no processing that could recognise you.
What we do not use
We do not use Google Analytics, the Meta pixel (Facebook, Instagram), or any advertising cookie or third-party tracker designed to follow your browsing from one website to another.
Managing cookies
You can view, block or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may, however, prevent you from signing in to your member area.
